Coby TFTV-505 is the best television for travel freaks! This portable television is a must-have for every traveler. It is so small and so light, it can fit nicely inside your backpack. I own one, and I place it inside my knapsack every time I travel, along with chips, suntan lotions, insecticides, books, and my Jack Russell terrier. Having a portable TV whenever I travel is essential for me because I want to know if I'm already crossing the Mexican border.

Coby is packaged with a 5" Liquid Crystal Display that can deliver magnificent and pleasing images. The audio is also good because it provides virtual surround sound. Actually, I'm surprised that this cutie can give high-quality performance despite its small size. It's like having a super flat personal digital assistant that is meant for TV viewing. Coby comes with AA batteries and a charger so you won't have to worry about missing Oprah or Desperate Housewives or Mexican soaps!

The only problem with this TV is that it is not shipped with audio and video ports so you can't connect your DVD players or Xbox game consoles on it. The remote is too small, I prefer to switch the channel via the buttons on the TV. It's light, yes, but it's not actually durable. So if you're planning to put it in a knapsack on a trip to Mexico, make sure the terrier won't sit on it, or else.

You love monitors, but you can't pick the best from the huge pile of Liquid Crystal Display and Plasma screens that line the shops today. Well, there's no need to worry if you read these friendly buying tips before you head for the shops.
Try the monitors first before you swipe your credit cards. Look for a vendor with a liberal return policy so you can check the product's performance at your home or office before paying for it. Never buy it online or through mail order unless the companies have a limitless return policy.
The viewable area of a wide-screen monitor is similar to the CRT. Try to buy 19-inch LCD because it gives you a wide viewing angle without eating your desk space. Speaking of desk space, you can actually save more space and money if you buy two medium-sized monitors than a big one. With two monitors, you can use one for your word processing and researching while the other is for your DVD and gaming needs.
Don't dump your old monitor in the bin. Monitors contain obnoxious chemicals like mercury and lead. So instead of polluting the air, why not give your monitor to charities and public schools. Just make sure it is still working, okay?

Dell's products are great, but their customer service is a bit nasty. Speaking to at least one of their representatives for an hour is enough to keep your blood curling for two weeks. The guys on the other line are stuttering, nervous morons, giving me the impression that I'm talking to monkeys!
Anyway, I don't wanna deal about that nightmare anymore, so let's move forward to why I'm friends with the Texas-based company again. It's because of their new UltraSharp 2405FPW monitor. At first glance, you'll know that this is no ordinary monitor. The 24" widescreen is a brilliant, transflective display that's capable of providing pleasing image quality. You can use it as a monitor for your computers, home theater, and Xbox game console. You can also move the display and adjust it to the desired height to eliminate eye strain. For me, this monitor is truly powerful.
"It's not powerful, change the adjective to flashy." Jupiter says after sneaking at my back and reading my article. Jupiter is a Dell user for four years, and he's the one who persuaded me to go back to Dell. An experts advice: Never try to lease nor loan anything from the company. Buy it in cash, unless you need a quick trip to hell.

"LCD is short for Liquid Crystal Display, but for people who reads this book, it would mean Luscious Chicken Dung", this is line two, page seven of the Idiot's Guide To LCD monitors. I read these words out loud to my brother, Jimmy, several days ago so that he'll realized that having this kind of manual is a shame to our royal family. I don't know what's got to his brain lately, but he's been buying several Idiot's Guide this month.
Idiot's Guide In Creative Writing, Idiot's Guide To Dishwashing Liquids, Idiot's Guide To Insect Repellents, and Idiot's Guide To Osama Bin Laden's Brain. Jeez, I wonder when they will produce Idiot's Guide To Kill The Writers Of This Book. Anyway, it's all my fault why Jimmy bought that damned book for monitors. Because I insisted that we buy CTX S965A 19 LCD Monitor to replace our moth-eaten Plasma monitor in the den.
The new monitor delivers good images, despite the medium-sized screen. And believe it or not, but I insist you believe, this monitor has a native resolution of 1280-by-1024. Talk about high definition television, huh! It's a must-have because it features a wide collection of ports enough to connect wires of your console games, speakers. Probably, you can even connect the wires you'd like to use for strangling your nagger wife.

Before, the TV and the VCR used to be a formidable pair in home entertainment. Watching the latest movies and back episodes of your most-loved TV shows are as easy as recording them into a videotape. With today's available technology everything is possible. Even if you only have your handy camcorder you can record movies, transfer them to a videotape and play them back later. While some people are stuck with their old analog TV sets, some have upgraded their units to a computer monitor.
Monitors and TV screens work in different ways. Under the category of color, a computer monitor fares better than a TV screen in that, the former generates fine colors. The pixels in television monitors are rectangular shaped while in computer monitor they are square in shape. This means that images in your computer screen appear to be stretched in TV screens. Another significant contrariety is interlacing. While a video image on TV is interlaced, images on a computer monitor use progressive scanning. The problem here is that when you transfer a video from your camcorder to a videotape, lines may appear and flicker on the TV screen. But regardless of the differences, consumers are given the freedom to choose, especially due to the abundance of products that are in the market today.

Are you going bananas about choosing the right monitor for that ultimate viewing experience? Trust me that can be a bane sometimes, especially if you're not familiar with the techy jargons that companies claim for their products. But being the wise consumer that you are you'd rather go for the cheap brands never knowing that it can wreak havoc on your home theater system.
Viewsonic is a trusted name in the market for visual display products like LCD monitors, flat screens and the like. Recently, Viewsonic released its new line of monitors. Claiming to be the fastest LCD monitors in the world, the VX924 and the VX724 can shell out lightning-fast speed video response at an average of 4 millisecond. The new models are eight times faster than its next competitor. Of course, it doesn't compromise speed with the visual performance. These monitors are the best companion for gamers, movie lovers and couch-potatoes. So if I were you, I'll ditch that old analog TV for this cool Viewsonic LCD monitor, and you'll know what I'm talking about. You'll never be anywhere but home.

If threatening and spanking doesn't anymore stop your kids from asking "are we there yet?", then surely, a portable monitor will. Attach this at the back of the headrests of your car's front seats, connect it with your portable DVD player, play some cartoons, and your kids will find a way to spend their time on long travels rather than punching the lights off each other. What you get is a peaceful, quiet trip to your mother's beach house. Just be sure to compute your travel time so you can bring enough "Finding Nemo" and "Spongebob Squarepants" DVDs.
